Arts & Crafts Tours Is About To Enter The 21st Century

Now that Arts & Crafts Tours is over a quarter-century old we have decided it is probably time for us to take advantage of the social media that is so changing our worlds. No, we aren’t giving up on examining and appreciating and just downright enjoying the glories of the 19th century to mid-20th century work of the British Arts and Crafts architects, artists and designers. At the same time, we are aware that in their time, the work they did was seen as cutting edge and contemporary.

Therefore we have just today launched an Arts & Crafts Tours Facebook page. Please visit us, like us, and follow us. And even if you don’t come along, soon, we think you’ll enjoy the many pictures we have put and are putting on our page. Speaking of pictures, we have also set up an Instagram page and expect to send out tempting pictures with some regularity and not too much text. We hope you’ll enjoy what you see. Of course nothing substitutes for seeing it yourself and so all of this is being done in hopes that it will entice you to join one of our tours. This year there are still places on our fall Scotland and the Lake District tour. Next year, we are planning at least three and possibly four trips in May, June, September and October.

If you’d like to know more about those, do let us know. But we will keep you informed about plans for 2017 in our newsletters and on our website. As always, we welcome your suggestions and want to hear where you’d like to go. One of the tours we are currently thinking of including is a trip to Ireland.
